They are soft, they cover up aspects I need them to cover when I'm not feeling my best. I love them for around the house, going on errands, and as a pull-over at the gym. They feel so soft you can wear them by themselves. They do not feel constricted. I am 5'9" with a very long torso. I usually lik...e 27" length tops. This sweatshirt in a medium tall fits me perfectly and covers whatever I want covered! It is banded at the bottom but it's not tight. It's perfect so you can pull it lower or make it more loose on your waist if you prefer. If you want a closer fit, size down. Mediums (tall) in shirts is my usual size. I have almost every color of these now. I wash and hang to dry and they have held up fantastically for the months I've had them, and wash/wear them every week.
I'm 5'6" typically a Medium can wear small too -these crews are SO huge it's like I'm wearing a men's XL. I can compare as my hubby is a sz Lg. Not a cute oversize-just a sloppy huge "I'm wearing clothing 4 sizes to big for me" look. To state that they are oversized is an understatement. I love a go...od baggy sweatshirt but this is beyond baggy-just sloppy. On a positive note they are really well made and super soft. Just simply beyond too big. As a typical medium I could have easily worn a XS and had a comfy stylish baggy look. So sad, I bought 2 and they can't be worn or returned.

I ordered the tall in this sweatshirt because they didn't have my size in regular and think I will enjoy the extra length over my leggings. This sweatshirt runs large so might need to order a size down. Great soft fabric that will be a daily go to in the fall/winter.
