I'm 5'10" and 185lbs with a 34" inseam so it can be difficult finding clothes that fit. It's frustrating that I try on a medium and a large in-store, and when I order the large tall online, the sizing feels completely different in the waist and is literally falling off me. I don't know if it's a qua...lity control issue or another case of clothing lines automatically making their tall sizing wider. I make special trips to the store to ensure I'm ordering the right size and even that has proven time and again to be unreliable. Do designers think everyone with long legs is plus size too? Do you even have tall women on staff in design? Now that I've had my time to vent I do love the colors of these and the fabric is so comfortable and soft. I do worry this will pill on the first wash due to the feel and fabric content though, and I'll be putting in some elbow grease with my fabric shaver. I said this about the matching sweater too but a 100% cotton option for sweats would be ideal for those who are trying to move away from microplastic fabric sourced from fossil fuels.

The good - the fleece is marvelous. Soft, warm and cozy! The bad - they are enormous. I wear a size 12 and even the size small was huge on me. The elastic jogger bottom pulls in the overly large legs so they most resemble parachute pants from the 1980's, unfortunately. The regular length was three ...inches too short, and the tall length were about two inches too long for me, at a tick over 5'10". If these were a straight leg cut, I would buy every color, no matter the price, but alas, they went back. The black with white piping is a fun choice. The shell is a super blah lavender-ish pale pink that is honestly incredibly boring, which was a surprise!

These were a miss for me. Got my usual tall small. I'm 6'1 143lbs. They weren't a great fit. A little short on me to be super comfy. They bunched in the hip area, too thick to hang nicely. If I'm paying that for sweats they need to actually look cute and be so great I'd want to live in them. Not these unfortunately

Traditional looking sweatpants that aren't as tight through the calves like some joggers. The cotton fabric and bagginess make these inappropriate for highly active use but wonderful for lounging and ultra-casual. My favorite feature is that the waistband is fully finished on the inside, making it fully reversable... like, the waistband can be folded over for a lower rise look without any interior seams visible. The only con is that the sizing is huge compared to what's normal for Athleta. At 5'3", 127 lbs I normally take a small or petite small in Athleta bottoms, and in these pants a size petite XS is very roomy. Online shopping would be easier and less wasteful of shipping resources if sizing were more accurate and consistent across the entire product selection.
