I'm 5'10" and 185lbs with a 34" inseam so it can be difficult finding clothes that fit. It's frustrating that I try on a medium and a large in-store, and when I order the large tall online, the sizing feels completely different in the waist and is literally falling off me. I don't know if it's a qua...lity control issue or another case of clothing lines automatically making their tall sizing wider. I make special trips to the store to ensure I'm ordering the right size and even that has proven time and again to be unreliable. Do designers think everyone with long legs is plus size too? Do you even have tall women on staff in design? Now that I've had my time to vent I do love the colors of these and the fabric is so comfortable and soft. I do worry this will pill on the first wash due to the feel and fabric content though, and I'll be putting in some elbow grease with my fabric shaver. I said this about the matching sweater too but a 100% cotton option for sweats would be ideal for those who are trying to move away from microplastic fabric sourced from fossil fuels.

Initially bought a M Tall in the grey after a friend suggested I try Athleta over Lululemon. I had read to size down so I purchased a M Tall instead of L Tall (I also bought a grey half zip and it's my favourite hoodie). The grey sweatpants are easily my favourite sweatpants I've ever had. I purchas...ed a second black pair and there must be something off because the black pants (also purchased a M Tall) are at least 2" shorter on the right leg than the grey and 3" shorter on the left leg. The material is so lovely but very disappointed in how off the measurements are. I've been searching for good tall sweatpants and I don't know if I'd purchase these again. The difference in leg lengths on the black pair is noticeable when I'm wearing them and they aren't long enough for me like the grey ones are. Fingers crossed that these black sweatpants are a one off because if I order another pair and the length is off I will not be purchasing from Athleta again.

I love the fit and feel of these sweatpants but I bought the honeydew color and they faded horribly after one wash. Same with the matching sweatshirt. They look years old now and I've worn them twice.

If you're curvy or anything other than a size 4, these are not for you. They are dumpy unflattering, gathering all this material at your ankle. Maybe you like the look.It was not for me. I had hoped that they would be as flattering as the Venice and Brooklyn joggers that I love. They were anything but. As much as I loved the cardinal color I gave these away. The sad part for me is that if I want a pretty color other than a neutral, this is my only choice for joggers. I wish Athleta would make some of those bright colors in the Venice or Brooklyn joggers, even a Limited Edition.

Very comfortable pants They do run big, but as stated, extra roomy. I usually wear a size 12 or Large in Athleta pants. I'm considering ordering a Medium just for a more snug fit.

They're warm, comfortable and very generously sized. I probably could have gone with an extra small instead of small but no complaints….except that I have to take them off to wash them, lol.
