They market them as active wear so you would think they would be much more durable. Switched to Nike Pro and have had no issues. Do not waste your mone...

My daughter has been wearing Athleta leggings for years and when we went to the store to grab a size up we both agreed they felt way different than her other pairs. I thought maybe it was due to her other pairs having been washed and worn, but after looking at the tags the new ones are primarily nylon as opposed to polyester (and the online listing as of the time of this review still states they are primarily polyester). They are still nice leggings, but they are a little different.

Rough elastic waist band

I am used to this style of pants having a very soft, comfortable waistband. However, the striped pants had a raw elastic waist band that was rough and scratchy against the skin. I hope they go back to the prior material.
