I should have read the reviews before ordering. It does run very large, which is confusing because I have other pieces from Athleta that are a Small size, but I should have ordered an extra small, which I never would have expected to order from Ahtleta. It's a beautiful trench, I got the blue. I've ...tried it on layering it with sweaters but it's still too big. Maybe I'll gain some weight so I can wear it, HaHa!

As a long time athleta customer I'm truly shocked at how many misses this has. I'm 5"1 and was excited to find a cute trench in petite. Sadly the proportions are terrible. The sleeves are still to long with no way to adjust, very wide cuffs. The material honestly feels terrible and so wrinkly. The i...nternal pull helps shape some but it's double breasted without a tie so you either have to fully button or float in the breeze (not helpful in rain in a parachute). And the length is just unflattering on someone short. Even on sale it's a hard pass. Luckily the return seems easy

I like the look of this trench when it is opened. It is not lined and is lightweight. It is very large on me and it has a strange fit when i try to close it. But I think that shoulder pads and a belt, even though it chinches at the waist might help. I can't return it because it was a final sale.

I should have read the reviews before I purchased a "Final Sale" item like this! The trench is a beautiful color but it is HUGE! It hung on me like a tent (ordered XL and I'm 5'4", 215lbs). I couldn't return it so I had it listed on Marketplace the day I received it.

Love this jacket. Well made and has the opportunity to be ruched in for a tighter waist. I'm super tall so the length is great but it may not work for shorter people.

It's not sized properly. I guess it's supposed to be loose, but it's enormous. I'm a medium in every Athleta jacket and top I've ever purchased. But I would need an x-small with this coat. I won't be able to use it - I'm swimming in it - and it's a final sale so I can't even exchange it. I think there should be some consistency in the sizing within a company. Very disappointing.
