Accurate fit and style. I'm 5'8 and it's difficult to find shorts that aren't too shorts. The midday short is the right length for daily wear - from running errands to grabbing a quick coffee with a friend.

I purchased this shorts in blue stripes in XS. The fit is perfect! I loved them so much, that during the sale I purchased another 4 pairs in different colors. Today I received a pair with green stripes in XS and a pair in bright blue in XS. Both of them are a size larger than the blue stripes color I purchased earlier. I think it's really frustrating when you purchase something online as Final Sale, and the sizing is not consistent among the same item with different colors. Now I will have to go to the store and bag them to accept a return. Not fair to the customers

These were way, way too big even though I ordered my normal size for Athleta, but it won't let me exchange them for a smaller size. I get not being able to return them as a final sale, but it's kind of ridiculous that I'm not allowed to exchange them when the smaller size is available.

The midday short is a great, lightweight short. I liked the navy so much that I bought the black. I feel they run a little big. I usually wear a small in Athleta, but the xsmall fits nicely. For reference, I am 5'3" and weigh 123 lbs. The xsmall is still roomy and flattering.
