Based on many of the reviews, instead of buying my usual size MT, I purchased the size ST. I wish I had gone with my usual size. While the pants fit, they're a little tighter in the hip area than I would like. I will be exchanging these for my usual size MT. Note that they did not run as big as so...me reviews noted. Definitely loved the fact that you can wear them with an open hem or cinched like joggers. I did find, as other reviewers noted, that the belt is a little thin and flimsy. It's really more for looks than any true functionality.
I wanted to love these but the belt was giving me an issue. It twisted the first time I tried to tighten it and then I almost got stuck in the pant. I was finally able to get them off but not without sweating myself into a panic, lol. For sizing purposes, they were "true" to size on me. I have a ...bigger booty and thighs so they were great but for someone smaller in those areas, I could see how they could be big.

The pants fit well but the belt…the way the belt ribbon feeds through the clasp isn't secure, it slides right off. I had to rethread it to try them on and then in the process of trying them on it came off two more times. It's an easy fix with a pair of tweezers but not so easy if you aren't at home. I'm 5'10" 200#s, usually a 14/16 and the XL tall fits well.

I love the light weight material of the pants. They're very breathable and move with your body. The little belt it has is a nice feature to cinch it tighter if needed but also great to loosen it up if you ate too much. Very flattering. Also love the green color I got them in. #sweepstakes

These are amazing, lightweight pants!! I purchased these thinking they'd be good flowy rock climbing pants (may be a a bit thin and tear against rough rock) but wore them for a plane ride recently and they were perfect! I'm 5'1, 26" waist and the petite xs were perfect for me.

I'm not in love with these, but am keeping them because they do look good on me and it will be nice to have another lightweight black option. The title of Highland was a little misleading. I'm used to the headland hybrid tights, and was expecting a similar feel in this fabric. These are quite silky. They will pack easily for travel.

I was looking out for some cute hiking pants with a looser cut because I like a baggier fit. I'm typically a size 8/10 5'3" ~150 lbs and the mediums fit very well. Appreciate the ties on the bottom that aren't really called out in the description and the fact that the material isn't super "swishy" Haven't worn them out hiking yet, but material seems thin and relatively breathable. My main concern is the belt giving out based on other reviews, but so far it's held up.
