This raincoat is water repellent and it has a hood— the two characteristics most important to me in a raincoat. Also, it's a coat not a jacket so it really protects me from the rain.

So comfortable and quality feel. I love that this trench is not at all noisy like a rain jacket sometimes can be. It feels like a normal trench but is water proof (yes, water proof) and wind resistant. I am 5'3" and 115 lbs and purchased the XS petite in black, which fits great, and I can layer with this one as well.

I am very happy with the fit of this Rainout Ridge long trench in black. For reference, I'm 5'2", 115# and got an XS petite. Great length, good coverage with the hood, a comfortable fit in the hip area and with the sleeves snapped, they are a good fit at the wrists. I had purchased it with travel in mind but I'm sure I'll be using it at home, as well. I just got it today so I can't speak to how it performs in the rain but I'm hopeful!

I love this raincoat! The fit is true to size, it is offered in petite sizes, it's comfortable and looks great on! I love the zipper pockets and the "drawstring" to create an attractive silhouette. I saw a woman wearing a lilac colored raincoat as I was grocery shopping and couldn't help but tell her how great her coat looked. She simply said "Athleta". I'm so grateful she said that. I went on line that day and found the coat. So glad I did.

I love my new trench. The pockets are nice and deep and the overall fit is perfect for me. I'm 5'8" with long arms and the sleeves are perfect. I especially like the colour Eden.
