This is the best thing I've purchased all year. Bought at the last minute to take on a 3 week vacation in Asia and I'm so glad I did. The coat folds flat for packing and doesn't wrinkle. It's a great weight that kept me warm when a chill was in the air yet could be worn in the rain when it was over... 90 degrees. The hood covers your head but doesn't fall down over your eyes. I love the blue/gray color-it goes with everything and matches the cross body bag I bought previously. I am 5'2" and around 125 lbs and the petite XS fits perfectly with the exception of the sleeves which are too long. I just rolled them over once and they looked fine. Length is perfect and lands just above knee my knees. It kept me dry in drizzle but I did not wear it in a downpour so I can't speak to whether it is totally waterproof. It washes well and looks like new right out of the washer. Hang to dry. I highly recommend this coat!
Don't know how quality control didn't catch this. I like the coat so much that I might keep it and wear unzipped. Not ideal for a rain coat. To Athleta designers: no woman's body is made this way ! I wonder if they used dimensions for a man. Men are built this way. The way this coat fits … is... just how a man's shirt fits a woman. Big in arms/shoulders, and very tight across lower waist and hips. In my case, I cant zip this coat. And it's so big in the top that I can't get a bigger size. My proportions are extremely average as I could have been a 'fit model'. Beware- there is some kind of mistake here. Still a pretty coat - SUCH A SHAME !

i really like hpw this looks but it is not breathable at all. No vents, so its like wearing a chic plastic bag. Also, for some reason petites only go up to L.

I'm 5'8" with long arms and a long torso, #140, 34DD chest, and 60+. I was sad that this jacket wasn't available in the tall size that I needed at the time that I ordered (I shop Athleta for their tall sizing). After reading some reviews about the sleeves being long, I decided to give the regular length a try. I usually wear either a small or medium tall in Athleta clothing. I purchased the Medium Regular. I love this rain jacket! I love that it is minimalistic but polished, quality constructed, zips open from the bottom for sitting ease, roomy enough for layering, and everything else it has to offer. The sleeves are not too short for me and the waist adjustment works with my long torso. Yay! I am going to get a lot of use out of this jacket!

This jacket is beautiful! If it was available I may size up one size just so I'd be more comfy wearing this over sweaters or a sweatshirt but overall I'm so happy with the jacket. It is so flattering. Can't wait to wear it out on a rainy day!
