I bought two and I'm eying a third. Is it crazy to have three of the same pant? The colors are awesome. It reminds me of the citizens of humanity Marcel cargo except this athleta pant has stretch and is far more comfortable. One unusual thing about this pant is that the legs rides up to the middle ...of my calves when I sit down. That's fine for summer but that will make this pant look silly to wear in the fall and winter. This is why I wish it was longer, or had an option for talls to cuff and uncuff. I'm not tall, 5'6, 125 pounds, and the size 2, 4, and 6 fit me, but the 4 and 6 give me the slightly barrel, relaxed look that I love. The bigger sizes sit lower on the waist, and the waist has stretch (as does the whole pant). Another perk of this pant is that it has a linen/cotton look and feel but doesn't wrinkle like linen. It makes me feel more put together, like I ironed before I put them on (and who has the time to iron, hah!). I'm giving this pant 4.5/5 stars, taking off half a star for the length. I actually believe the pant looks more trendy than it does on the model. I don't know what's up with that but I don't think the model photo accurately represents how cool the pant actually is. Kudos to Athleta for a high end looking and fitting product!
First, these are nice pants. Based on review comments about the waist being tight, I ordered them in a 2 and 4 petite (my waist is 27 in. but I usually wear a 2/26). The 2P was snug in the waist, but there is some stretch to the fabric, so it wasn't terrible, but also not real comfortable. The 4P wa...ist was more comfortable, and the pants were quite loose in the hips. I would have kept them, except the waist was too high--above my navel, not like it's shown in the product images, where the waist is slightly below the navel. The proportion didn't look right. I appreciate that Athleta offers pants in petite lengths, but it would be great if rise and width were also proportionally smaller. If you're height is average or tall, these pants will probably look great on you.

I'm 5"1 and i get swallowed up by barrel and wide legs but not these pants! has the perfect barrel leg but not too barrel-y. the petite size breaks at the perfect spot but does not accentuate my short stature bc the barrel is a perfect cut. the fabric is perfect too. not too thin or too stretchy but there is enough stretch to be super comfortable and they do not wrinkle. I love that they can actually be dressed up or down. I have two colors i love them so much.

I love the fit and the fabric! I was looking for something other than linen to wear into fall and not denim. More dressy and versatile. Love the cropped barrel cut which is modern, even for this Grandma! Please make them in dark olive and brown!

Reference: 5'2", 148lbs, 36C, apple shape, longer torso, generally Petite M or 10 Petite in slacks/jeans. Ordered this pant early spring 2025 in black, size 10p and it fit beautifully everywhere but the waist, which was uncomfortably tight; I should have returned. Cut the tags, and stuck with them now. Ordered again, during a sale this summer, in the lighter green but size 12p and the waist fits like the 10p should have. Love them, but really bummed about the black pair I paid full price for, that I will never be able to wear. Beware of the waist issue; order your regular size AND a size up to be sure. Wish I had.

I ordered these pants one and half month ago. While ordering them, website didn't say the pants are out of stock and my size was available. After I paid, confirmation email said they are backordered. After a month and a half, they are still not shipped. When I contacted to costumer service, they were super rude and not helpful at all. This was my first purchase from Athleta and I will never shop from here again.
