This is my second pair and I'm replacing a linen set of shorts I got from another store that the hem came apart after the first wash. These are comfortable and stylish

I love these shorts. The fabric, length, and fit are perfect, but there is one flaw that is unfortunate. Since these shorts include a metal aglet, it might increase the chances of it falling off. I'm hoping it's a one-off thing, but I've only worn and washed these shorts twice (I did wash them as directed), and the metal aglet fell off. I have reached out to customer service to determine if this is a recurring defect; however, since the colorway and size I purchased are currently out of stock, I do not feel comfortable sending the shorts back.
