I'm 5'2" and need a petite in these, and I have elation petite leggings and the waist is still ultra high rise. The waist line in the straight leg is lower, under my belly button, and creates muffin topping that I don't like. On top of that, they ride up my front and that's not a look I want. I think they run small and I'm not sure I want a large, I think I will just be returning them.

I now own 4 pairs of these pants. They are so comfortable that I would rather wear these than jeans in casual settings. I am 5' 2" 120 and tried the medium regular but the large petite fits me perfectly. The length last year was a tad short but this year seems perfect. The black never goes on sale so I grabbed them early this year! Highly recommend
