I am consistently a medium at Athleta. Typically wear size 10. These shorts are SUPER comfortable but they didn't flatter my body at all. Butt and hips (especially from the back) look bigger than they are. I don't know if I would have been better ordering a small? Length is good and I do like the fullness of legs- almost like a skirt. Worth trying on to see if you have a different fit.

I love a Bermuda short, especially when I'm working around the house. These are comfy in fit and softness. Although these shorts are not terribly flattering on me (thus the 3 stars), they are super functional and I like them and will wear throughout the summer.

These shorts are very comfortable and, given the fabric, they don't wrinkle terribly. I first ordered them in my regular size small, and they were voluminous. I sort of wrote them off but when they went on sale I decided to give them another try in size XS. They're great. The style is a little different - very wide at the hem, but they look good and are really comfy. For reference, I'm 5'2" and 138 pounds.
