First the good qualities - the fabric feels amazing, and the legs fit/hang nicely. The length was perfect, and the zippered pockets are a great feature. I got these pants for a trip to Italy and let me say I love the fit and they are very comfortable! I wore them 2 times and washed them only one time. They are pulling it 3 places. I wash all of my clothes on cold and line dry so there is no reason they should be doing that. I have a pair in the khaki color and I have not noticed them doing it. For the price the material should hold up better.

I love Athleta pants and wanted something high rise and thinner for summer. Love the feel of these and the fit was good but pleated on either side of the crotch was weird. Tried to size up to a Large to see if they were cut smaller but they didn't have any in stock. For reference the waist and everything else seemed fine.
