I was DEVASTATED that the green sold out so fast in the petite sizes, because I adored them. I went with the black though because you can never have too many pairs of black leggings. Just a few thoughts I have now that they have arrived, that I wish I would have known before placing my order. First,... these are tight. I have many many pairs of Athleta pants/shorts/leggings/whatever, and all of them are P8, P10, or PM, so I got these in a PM. They are a little bit sausage-casing-y around my stomach, and they are really tight around my calves. (Granted, I have been "blessed" with what I will call "ample calves" so this is likely not a problem for a lot of people. Just my fellow wide calf people.) I probably should have gone with a PL. I already ran in them though so I guess I'll keep them and just use them when I think I need more compression. (A note on the run... zero complaints, they stayed perfectly in place which is what I love about Athleta tights.) Another comment, and this is not a deal breaker in any sort of way, just something I didn't pick up on from the photos... the stripes are like a thick ribbon sort of material on top of the leggings. I guess I was picturing something more... built in to the leggings, if that makes sense? Like they're still cute and I love the stripe, add more things with stripes down the leg please, I just went "huh, that isn't what I expected" as I pulled them out of the packaging. Anyway, in the time I spent writing this review, a pair of green in a PL has come available so I'll probably just go buy those right now. So yeah, no deal breakers, just information I thought someone might find helpful.
