Bought in 3 colours..Versatile, comfortable. Sized down (usually a Small or a 4, bought XS/Petite). Drawstring at ankles is fragile. Wish it was thicker and less delicate.

I loved these pants when I tried them on in the store, and I got a small, which is my typical Athleta size. However, after wearing them twice, not even having washed them yet, there are gaping holes (and by gaping I mean 2-3 inches long)in the seams of the upper thighs. It's the same area where you would typically get some thigh rub but the pants are completely ruined and unwearable. I wish I could say it was from running a marathon in them, but alas, that's not the truth. I have never seen a pair of pants just fall apart like they're made out of single ply gas station toilet paper! I can't return them because I bought them as a final sale, but I'm pretty disappointed, as I actually liked the fit. I wear a lot of Athleta pants, and these are just horribly fragile. The worst!

I love the fit, especially the comfortable waist, I never need to pull them up, they stay on my waist no matter my activity. The lightweight feel and the leg shape, with the adjustable cuff make them ideal pants to move in. I wear them primarily as a layer over a different variety of Athleta leggings. They provide wind, insect, and even light rain protection. They have become a staple in my outdoor activities.
